Time’s Up! Family can be played with your friends or family. The players divide into teams and split between themselves 30 cards, plus two cards per player.
Each player then chooses 2 cards they feel are too difficult and return them to the box. The remaining cards are then shuffled to form the deck, and the game can begin.
A game of Time’s Up! Family plays over three rounds in which the players will have to make their teammates guess which animals, jobs, or items are written on the cards from the deck. On reach round, in turn, each player will have 40 seconds to make their teammates guess as many words as possible. And each word will be worth 1 point to their team. On the first round, they will be able to use words to give clues. For the second round, each player will only be able to use a single word. On the third and final round, the players who are trying to make their teammates guess are no longer allowed to speak! They will have to mime or hum to make their teammates guess words. At the end of three rounds, the team with the highest score wins the game.
